Create unique ambient light for your garden with solar lanterns. Designed in the Netherlands, the lanterns were inspired by light, nature and our global village. They are made from durable and weather-resistant Tyvek® material, and produce a unique atmosphere in your garden. When dusk falls, the LED light is activated from the LUMIZ solar panel and the patterns magically come to life. 

Each lantern is equipped with a compact solar panel. This panel collects sunlight during the day and automatically charges the built-in battery. Once it gets dark, the lantern uses this stored energy to power the LED light.

How it works

  • During the day: The solar panel captures sunlight and converts it into electricity
  • Storage: The power is stored in the built-in rechargeable battery
  • At dusk: The integrated light sensor detects darkness and automatically switches the light on
  • When it gets light again: The light turns off and charging resumes
  • The burn time of a Lumiz lantern can vary. It depends on how much sunlight the lantern absorbs during the day and on the outdoor temperature.
  • This variation is completely normal and typical of all battery-powered products.
